Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren
I can't say enough good things about this book. The ladies just keep getting better and better with each book and I hear there is more to come. Everything got in the way of me reading this book, all I wanted to do with lose myself in the story and not surface until it was done. The characters are smart and witty and sometimes you just wanted to smack their heads together. It's proof positive that making assumptions only makes you an ass.

C.C. Gibbs - Knight's Mistress and Knight's Game
In Canada this trilogy is called "He's all in" and the second one is just coming out. I had to read the first one again so I knew where the second was going. I did have 80 books in between. I really like this one. The story is strong with good character depth.
As you can imagine its about a successful business man who decides he wants Katherine Hart, a young consultant hired to find a financial leak. She is smart, strong and won't put up with his arrogance. She gives as much as she gets. This story takes turns while they are trying to figure out each other and themselves all at the same time. It's hot and sexy with lots of sass. Looking forward to the third installment!
Samantha Young - On Dublin Street - 4 - S3
I loved this book. It keep me interested all the way through and it had a beginning, middle and end. It locked itself up in one book, a nice change from all the trilogies out there. The characters are strong and story great, could not put down. Can't wait to read the next one.
Reading Romance A to Z.
In November of 2012 I decided to read romance A to Z. First question would be why? I couldn't decide what to read next so this approach created my plan for me. You see, I work in a book store so the options are endless, believe me, we all have very long lists!
I would write down the authors we had starting with A and working my way through the alphabet would read one or more from each other. I have read over 175 books since I began. In this blog are some of my favourites. As you can see I rated the books I read and the sex content, because I have customers that want a good story but varying degrees of sexual content.
I guess to start, you need a frame of reference for my taste. Believe me it has changed over the past year. Last summer I read Fifty Shade of Grey trilogy 3 times cover to cover and loved it, can't wait for the movie! I can get past the lack of editing, as in the errors and repetition. The story has to go somewhere and the characters have to be strong, at least show them getting stronger through the story for me to enjoy it.
I know I should of started this last year, I was busy reading! So starting is better than never starting as I see it. I have listed my favourites in the different romance categories. Going forward, I am going to add my new favourites as I go through some I missed or catching up on series I really enjoyed and blog about them as I go. After that I am going to expand into the New Adult area and see where I go from there.
Please feel free to add your comments if you have read any, suggestions of authors I should try or just any comments at all. Enjoy and let's get busy reading!
